When I started walking by the water
I wasn’t thinking of Your ways.
But it’s the clearest I’ve seen You.
When I’m running it doesn’t feel like
There’s a reason to run away.
It feels like I’m seeking You.
There’s always something on the horizon
And it is something You have made.
I pray to forever know You.
I may not have all the answers I want
(Each step is one I can’t replace).
But I know how to run to You.
