Blog Plans

I’ve moved my laptop from my room to the dining table and comfy pants are on. My parents are out for a couple of hours and I’ve got my blogging notebook by my side, as well as a cup of tea. (Isn’t it funny how as soon as the house is emptier, I go from blogging in my room to blogging at the dining table. I’m doing the exact same thing, but it feels more adventurous or something. Logic beats me.) I’ve got my blogging hat on and I’m ready to score (I know I’m mixing my metaphors, but please work with me here because it is go-time).

What I’m trying to say is, I’m feeling very inspired. Mainly by reading other blogs. I think there’s a trap in this at the same time, though, because I need constant reminding that the blogs I find easily have had five years to become the brand they are, and they have a product to sell. I do not. I like it this way, but I think when being inspired, we need to not compare ourselves.

I’m not saying I want two thousand followers or anything like that, I’m just excited to consider more possibilities for this blog. Even just a change of design, more of a routine, that kind of thing. Now is the time to explore and expand my horizons because I’m at my least-busiest. Next month things are picking up in my actual life (what, I have a life outside of sunflowers?) so I want to focus more time on my blog now while I have the head-space.

Something I know I want to do is have a monthly list. Remember March Camper? I want to do that for every month and show more insight into my world. I’m not thinking anything too crazy (I mean, this is me we’re talking about), but I do want to have more consistency, or something along those lines. When I am a busier person (and can’t wear my pyjamas as much as I do now) I don’t want my blog to fall behind because of that. I want to keep my blog fresh no matter what my life looks like. Sure, posting might happen less, but I want my blog to always be accessible.

This is just a short post to keep you updated with my thought process right now. I’m feeling so inspired I thought I should blog while the words are happening and while I’m in blog-land.

It’s go-time, baby. (I just wanted an excuse to say that.) (I don’t really know why.) (I don’t say ‘baby’ in my everyday life, but it comes naturally when I’m typing. Maybe it’s taking over ‘campers’?) (No, nothing could stop me from writing ‘campers’.)
