The Art of Starting

There are many, many quotes about one step starting a journey.

In my experience, it starts earlier than that; it starts with telling one person.

I find that if one person knows of the journey you want to take, they can encourage you and keep you accountable. It’s brave, telling one person. But once you tell one person, it can be easier to take that one first step. It means that there’s someone there alongside you throughout the journey and you know you’re not alone.

So if you don’t know how to take that first step, try telling someone. Be brave and share your heart for wanting to take a first step. Things are better when there are other people on your bandwagon, campers.
