The Art of Being Baptised

Campers, today was one of the best days of my life.

I was baptised.

My heart is full, my life is filled with many, many beautiful people able to be there for me, and I know that God will continue this great work in me. The weather, which has been cloudy for days, rolled back to reveal the sun (much to my relief as I hopped out of the water), and life is good, friends. Life is good. Words and hugs followed, and even though I had to go back to work afterwards, something in me is different which will continue to move me in ways that I’m excited to see, and some that I can’t even imagine yet.

I am clothed with Christ. I am branded with Christ. Today marks the beginning of something new, and deeply, deeply wonderful.
